“Marc Andreessenn said 10 years ago that “software is eating the world” which is exactly what’s happening now with the rise of SaaS. This has brought us in a “subscription economy” where customers pay for what they use in software systems, which only increases in number & usage volume as businesses grow. While this increases the pace of innovation globally, it has also resulted in making software investments as the second largest expense category in any company’s P&L, which if left unchecked might potentially result in financial consequences that might be irreversible to businesses globally - some of which we saw recently : delayed profitability, layoffs, etc.

At OpsLyft we want to make sure that no company in the world goes through a small to big financial pain due to bad software investments. Our mission is to ensure that all businesses across the world achieve a continuous state of zero overspending on software expenses by the end of this decade. Once we achieve this, I believe we would have done our part towards humanity by preventing the wastage of the hard earned money of people’s honest hard work across the years across the world"
